A very special Colombian concept of FREEDOM!!!

It would be simple for many people to think that the only freedom that each Colombian citizen is looking for is the freedom by effect of the kidnapping or the freedom of the internal conflict developed over the history of the country. Now, I will let know true to the people who does not know the reality of my country: approximately 44 millions of inhabitants have a dream of freedom that is quite similar to that of many citizens of the world, and those that have classified us in the initial appraisal, neither them can have clear their own concept of freedom.

Figure 1. If you think about a Colombian freedom concept, then go through this picture...

From the first weeping out of the mother abdomen, man has desperately searched for the moment, the condition or the illusion of a specific freedom: the Cuban prisoner who yearns for the freedom of the Castrista dictatorship, the individual who is kidnapped in the middle of the Colombian jungle and those persons linked to the war in many countries. Many cases of the desire of freedom, that is not only for Colombian people, but for any individual.

Freedom is within the subconscious of every man, related to leaving a specific oppression. While recent decades news related to Colombia show the desire for freedom of the kidnapped persons, the search goes far beyond, where every being with their problems, addictions and experiences. This creates a longing and hope for better conditions: towards the liberation of all that is product of the mistreatment, the pain or the suffering.
Figure 2. ...longing and hope for better conditions...
To the margin of all the possible situations: terrorism, guerrillas, paramilitarism, kidnappings, etc., the Colombian people is humble, hard-working, happy and certainly free. It is not very objective to put the things in terms of villains or good persons, but definitively in Colombia those last mentioned are the majority. A nation that since that 20 of July 1810, with the signature of the Declaration of Independence, we feel free and proud to be Colombians.
Finally, it is not possible to consider a single approach of freedom for a community or for a country. It would be easier and more valid to understand that: the desire to be free is similar to the desire to live. Only in the silence of every human being in the world, the freedom is the target for which it is worth continuing living.
