Blades of Glory

In this clip there is an ice skating show. The strange thing with this is the ice skaters are two men. This is strange because it’s not common two men to skate as a couple. While they are skating one of them falls down, the other encourages him to stand up and continue their show.

We can see three colors: white, red and blue. The ice is white. The white ice can help us to pay more attention to the two others colors which are red and blue. The one man wears red clothes and the other blue. The signs the ads and the letters around the ice are red and blue. We can say that red and blue are two colors with opposite meanings. Red means something hot and blue something cold. The two colors can represent the two men and balance between them.

In Greece, the white can express the purity of something. The red means passion love or something evil. Finally the blue can express the serenity or calmness and can express also all my country’s culture because the greek flag has blue, all the houses in islands are blue and of course because of sea
