In the movie clip, I think the most important colors the director used are pale, golden, red, green, white and black. A pale face shows that the young man is negative character. He is cold-blood man and care people's life. Golden box shows this box is precious and holy. so, It must hide something have the same significance. Red is the color of Hellboy's skin .Although hellboy is a devil, he is powerful and dangerous, he still has a warm heart. In the dark background, this red is opposite to the monster's green and attact people's attention. At the end of the clip, the green monster gets a deadly shot. Before its death, it becomes a huge flower and spreads its white seeds.White usually means purity so I think the green monster is not compelitely bad. It's innocent beacause the pale-face man was controling it.
