THE MEANING OF COLOURS IN CHINA

My pictures in the blog represent the meaning of some colours in the culture of China. These colours are DARK BLUE, LIGHT BLUE AND RED. Please note that the following pictures do not have these colours in them physically but they express their emotional/in-depth meanings.

DARK BLUE – This is a negative colour in China which means sadness. This picture depicts a young lady who feels sad after being dumped by her boyfriend for some other girl.

LIGHT BLUE – The light blue colour is a positive colour in China. It represents peace, freshness. This is a picture of a fountain that flows with fresh water at all times. I chose this picture because I feel serene being around water.

RED – There are two meanings to the Red colour in China. It means love as well as danger. This picture expresses positive meaning of red; it simply shows a father expressing his fatherly love for his new born son.
