The Colors of South Korea

The first picture represents the color white, which for South Korean people means pureness and cleanliness, it can be interpretated as a very high state of honor, respect and value. That´s the main reason the girls in white are in a very clean enviroment.

The second picture represents blue, because this color has a "Negative" meaning, it also represents women. The picture is my hand making the negative sign acording to many diferent cultures.

The third picture is about red, it represents the communism, oppresion and the abuse of power, especially of the laboral force. Other meanings for red in the South Korean culture are positive. Men are identified by red.

The last picture I think is the most important. It represents the balance represented in the South Korea Flag by a ying-yang symbol in blue and red. In the picture I wanted to highlight man, woman, blue and red by establishing a harmony that can be interpretated as the good and the bad.
